Alaska Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Kenai Fishing Charters, we understand that plans may change, and unexpected circumstances can arise. To ensure fair treatment for both our clients and our business, we have developed the following cancellation policy for our Alaskan fishing charters: We do care for you and your situation. While this may be your once in a lifetime vacation, we have hosted thousands of vacationers over the years and we’ve seen many vacation plans unexpectedly fall through. Therefore we highly recommended travel Insurance.

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required at time of making a reservation to secure a fishing confirmation. Final payment is due 45 days prior to your charter. A 6% sales tax will be added to each charter seat. Payments can be made through our booking system, or by giving us a call. We’ll arrange for whatever payment method works best for you.

Cancellations & Refunds:

  • Cancellations made 90 or more days prior to your scheduled date receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 90 to 45 days from your scheduled date receive a full refund minus a 25% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made 45 days or less from your scheduled date or a no-show will receive no refund unless a replacement charter is found. We’ll contact you but please feel free to watch our calendar, see if your dates fill up and reach out if they di. We’re going to be very busy and appreciate you bringing it to our attention if we miss it.

  • There is no refund for any unused portion of the charter.

  • Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that client has read and accepts Kenai Fishing Charters cancellation/refund policy

  1. Rescheduling:

    • Clients may reschedule their charter without penalty if the request is made more than 15 days before the original charter date.

    • Rescheduling within 15 days of the charter date is subject to availability.

  2. No-Show Policy:

    • If clients fail to show up for the charter without prior notice, no refunds will be issued.

  3. Partial Cancellations:

  4. Communication:

    • All cancellation requests or changes to reservations must be made in writing via email (Bryan@kenaifishingcharters.net) or through our official booking system.

  5. Exceptions:

    • Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen personal crises.
